Joy in the air

It has been so long since i last post. I had an extremely fruitful time with Keng Ping just now as we were having lunch near his place. There is a level of excitement i have before i met him. I can say that it is fun/blessed to be able to follow up on a new believer.
When i asked him for any prayer request. He merely requested to have a good mood. Haha. The funniest thing was he wanted to have good mood because God has answered his prayers & he felt weird! Haha. Then i asked him this question, do he believe anything he asked for in prayer. With a mere "yes" as an answered, i showed him this verse.
Matthew 21:22
22If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."
To give you a brief description of what God has answered him in prayer. Here it is. On the day of caregroup, he fell sick. He contemplated whether to come for caregroup or not, as he felt nauseous and dizzy. With God's grace and a little persuasion from me, he chose to come down with faith! As a caregroup, we prayed that he will be freed from his sickness, just like how some blind men have been healed in the bible. Miraculously, God healed him! Today, he shared with excitement that, usually it took one week for his fever to be healed, God healed him on that day itself! Praise be to the Lord! Hallelujah!
I realized that the key to follow up - never spoonfeed them. Help them to experience their personal Jesus. I thank God how He has used me to follow up on this particular new believer. I have faith that he is going to continue to grow, & to be nurtured by the Holy Spirit.
