Hey guys! Went missing for the past 2 months. Now, i am back again!
Last monday, celebrated mother's day. My mother won lottery and treated us to a meal. I have not eaten with my family for a long time, I really appreciate my mom, and i made use of this opportunity to show love to her.
Last week, my favorite American Idol Melinda Doolittle got the boot last week. Argh! I was devastated, never have i been so upset before. She has always been consitent and really good. She has never sung a single song that is bad enough for Simon to say bad, Simon predicted her to be in the finale of the competition and he is really upset and angry when she got eliminated. This clearly shows her consistency considering that even the most mean judge out of all the mean judges, can't stop praising her talent.
Nevertheless, Melinda still bow out gracefully after the competition. She kept smiling at the contestants. Anyway, she never intended to win this competition in the first place. She came for the audition because her friend is joining. Thank God that she audition, or else the best undiscovered taent in America will never be seen!
On sunday, it was water baptism, I am really thrilled that Khok Yen has finally gone for it to proclaim his faith to God. Yeah! Praise God for His always wonderful faithfulness. Congratulations to Geng Yuan, Rayient, Kai Sze and Dawn also. Walk obediently with God, He will see you through. Later, we celebrated Phoebe's spiritual birthday. I can't imagine it has been one year since i brought Phoebe to come to know God. God is good, all the time, merciful and graceful.
There is one thing, i pray it will never happen, for me to backslide away from God. God has been faithful in my walk with Him. He never forsake me, even when i disobey Him. I really want to show His love to all the people on this earth. Cg is not about growing in quantity or even quality only. It is a place where God has placed all His people in, where people are able to show love to one another. Love is an element that can never be missing from believers. If you are a believer without love, Christ has died for you for nothing! Considering the fact that He died for us out of love.
Now, knowing that Jesus loves, show His love to all the people, be it around you, or distant from you. People are suffering outside the four walls of Singapore! My burdens stretch towards all the people entangled in the sufferings of wars, famine, disease and complacency. God is coming back soon, it will come a day that the hour and day is unknown. Don't be caught sleeping naked!
I am glad to belong to a family instituted by God! I love my cg and my church!
