Have you ever heard of this song? Please listen to it, if you have never done so. It speaks a great deal about Jesus to be the driver of your life, to lead your life's direction.
Yesterday, as i was praying to God, God gave me a vision! It has been a long time since God gave me a vision to live for. But He reminded me of 3 things i should really take note in my life:
1) Dependency on God - Do I depend on God for strength or do i depend on myself?
2) Discipline in life - Do I have the discipline to spend time with God faithfully, to resist distractions that come into my life?
3) Character - Am i living out the Christ in me?
Sometimes, i find that i have the inclination to depend on my capabilities and my own abilities to achieve what God has called me to do. Many times, i have forgotten that i am engaged in a spiritual warfare, and that God cannot be lacked in this battle. Without God, i can hardly experience joy in my life, everything that i do, it seems so dry and empty. When i sit down, peacefully, and pray to God, i felt the Holy Spirit reigning in me. Everything just springs to life again, vision is revived. I regain the strength to get back up on my feet again. Thank God!!!
John 15:2-8.
I am like the branch that is undergoing pruning right now. I have to stand firm and overflow in the Holy Spirit!
