Toiling on my project right now. Arh! Can't wait for holidays to come, have been anticipating for it.
Yesterday, we went to play captain's ball at the hockey pitch. This is the first time i have played sports this year. Oh no, i sound very unhealthy, but i'm loving it. I hate all kinds of physical stuffs, except walking. Walking helps me very well in my reflection for the day and as well as my relationship with God. We played for a while yesterday, then went for dinner at AMK. Being involved in caregroup activity is very important, it builds up the unity of the group, as everyone comes together and share about their life, supporting one another, bearing with one another in love.
Ephesians 4:16
16From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
As i grow spiritually mature in God, i realized that i am able to accept people more readily. I love to see a caregroup with people of all kinds of personality. This will greatly help in building up their love strong for people, as they have to love people who they will never thought of loving when they are a non-christian. Loving people with God's lenses is more valuable and treasured in the eyes of God, rather than just repenting to God with no accompanied action.
1 Peter 4:8
8Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
1 Corinthians 13:1
1If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
Isaiah 1:11
11 "The multitude of your sacrifices—
what are they to me?" says the LORD.
"I have more than enough of burnt offerings,
of rams and the fat of fattened animals;
I have no pleasure
in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats.
Let's really dare to show love for one another. With love, we actually save ourselves from a multitude of sins, with love, we will trust and not lie, with love, coveting/murdering will not take place at all. With love, jealousy will turn to joy that the other party will do well. We have the ability to slightly change our perception of people, things might not be that bad. If you find that you loathe people especially brothers and sisters, the love of God has yet to deeply penetrate your heart. Accept God, and His love. You will realize that giving in to the other party without compromising the biblical principles is actually easy. :)
1 John 4:20-21- 20If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.21And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
1) Bare our hearts
Don't hide from people, share your problems to people you are closed with. There's no such thing as being independent in the eyes of God
2) Bear Hug
Be closely embraced with one another. Close proximity!
3) Bear with one another
Embrace each other's weaknesses. Encourage and motivate! Don't be too overly acidic in your words.
Ephesians 4:2
bear with one another in love
Conclusion
If you find there are a lot of differences between you and a brother/sister. Always use this similarity to love. All of us die in God, we are one body in Christ. Imagine you are the eyes and hate the ears, are you able to survive without the other?
1 Corinthians 12:14-26
14Now the body is not made up of one part but of many. 15If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. 16And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. 17If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20As it is, there are many parts, but one body.
21The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" And the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!" 22On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
Thank God for everyone who participate in the game as well!
