No one stands alone

It was a hectic day for me again. Sometimes, i wonder whether there is actually something to break the usual routine of my life. I merely want to stop living a life that is without purpose. I realised, some nights ago, that watching the television is fun but meaningless. Nonetheless, that doesnt stop the nasty habit of mine, wanting to catch American Idol without fail.

Tonight, when i was working together with Zhang Liang, i witnessed something interesting which i will share in the latter part of the post. Zhang Liang is a fabulous worker, he can serve the customer, set the table and everything else required of a waiter almost flawlessly. He is swift in his actions and take hold of every utensils very steadily. There is simply no trace of clumsiness in his work. I am just in awe of it. It kind of makes me feel nostalgic. Every time i see how good he is at in his work, it reminds me of how i get tipped off all the time by my assistant manager, Coco Chan. Not only was i slow in my work, i was extremely clumsy, breaking cups and plates every now and then even when there is not even a slightest bit of wind present in that kind of environment. Strangely though, i was extremely heartbroken when i left that place. Not because my loved ones are there but because i quit at the time when i got pretty close to my work mates. Sad, real sad, one of the deepest regret i ever had in my life.

Back to the topic, i put myself into a trance when there is no customer around. The work is boring me to tears. I seriously cant picture myself slacking there for the entire 2 hours with absolutely nothing interesting to do. I rather live in my own picturesque world with my own stupid imagination and stuffs like that. This will make my working hours more lively. Just then, i noticed something very interesting. A Bangladesh who is hired for washing the plates is actually making food for the people in order to lighten the work of the chef. When i saw it, i was like, Oh Gosh, what is he doing, is he even doing the right thing? Then, i asked Zhang Liang, why is the Bangladesh helping the chefs to make food, dont he has own work to do? Zhang Liang answered me that since he is able to make it, why not? He has finished washing the plates. I was not really amazed by how he answered me but by the principle i can draw out from them.

We, who made ourselves known as Christians will be good if we can follow their example. Imagine a Bangladesh helping 2 Koreans, it is nothing less than awesome. If i were to help somebody with no relations to me and he/she has a different skin color from mine, i will definitely refuse. But, if they can do it, why cant we? We must not only help the brothers in Christ, though they are the priority, they are not everything. If we help someone who love us, how are we any different from all the worldly people in this degrading planet. It proves that we must help people who condemn us also, it may be kind of impossible for egoisitic people, but Jesus puts himself down as a human to serve people who reject him, so, how can we find any reason not to help any person who curses us? There is just no reason under the sky that we can find to refuse helping people in need of help, be it they are believers or not.

This example also make clear that we should assist our brothers in Christ much more than we ought to. A Bangladesh helps people who are not related to him in any ways. Hence, it makes no reason why we aint helping our brothers more than we are supposed to when they are somebody we have some earnest relationship with. We should complement each other weaknesses and strengthen each other strengths. Contribute in our areas of strength when they are in need of you and accepting help when they are contributing something out of their strength to cover your weaknesses. No man is an island and no man stands alone. God didnt create Adam to stand on his own, he created Eve to help him out. Genesis 2:21-23

1 Corinthian 12:12-25
We are a body and each of us are different parts of the body. We are interdependant on one another.
